Krista Bradford is CEO of The Good Search, headquartered in Westport, CT in the Greater New York City Area. Before founding the company in 1999, Ms. Bradford served as a three-time Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter and television journalist, having held positions with WNBC and WWOR in New York as well as with stations in Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, and St. Louis. She is a former national news correspondent for “The Reporters” on the Fox Television Network and a senior correspondent Tribune’s nationally syndicated “Now It Can Be Told” series. Shortly after leaving television, Ms. Bradford founded The Good Search, recruiting marquis-name executives and technologist to the portfolio companies of top tier venture capital firms in New York’s Silicon Alley and California’s Silicon Valley. Soon, The Good Search’s practice grew to include Fortune 100 clients in technology and media such as Intel, Microsoft, and Google. Ms. Bradford is a renowned public speaker, thought leader, and expert in talent acquisition. Her blog, “The Investigative Recruiter” is counted among the recruiting industry’s Top 20 blogs and among HR World’s Top 10. She has served as a board member of the International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment (IACPR), and is a member of the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA). She studied at Harvard and Columbia University, ultimately obtaining her BA in Liberal Arts at The New School. She lives in Westport, Connecticut with her teenage daughter Katharine Cioe and husband Crispin Cioe, a world-class saxophonist, composer, and founder of the band Cracked Ice. Jessica Heady serves as Director of Research Operations & Social Media at Intellerati in the Greater New York City area. At Intellerati, Ms. Heady is responsible for identifying and profiling top and hard to find talent for each of our engagements as well as for the care and feeding of our proprietary database. She tracks the latest research tools and trends, ensuring Intellerati stays on the leading edge. Also, if you frequent Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, chances are you’ll find Ms. Heady there as she also runs our social media campaigns. Ms. Heady has worked on investigative recruitment research engagements for some of the world’s most highly regarded employers including Accenture, Amazon, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Microsoft. For one major financial institution, she assisted in the identification of more than 500 diverse officer-level candidates in the financial services industry.
Ms. Heady has been working in executive search, recruiting and staffing since 2005. Prior to joining Intellerati, Ms. Heady served as a Recruiter and Research Associate at Staff Providers, working with the executive management on the placement of medical professionals including doctors and senior management as well as support staff to some of largest and most highly regarded healthcare organizations in the Northeast, including Yale University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Health System, and Quest Diagnostics.
Before Ms. Heady started her career in recruiting services, she served as a trusted assistant to a prominent attorney in the Fairfield County area. It was in the position where Ms. Heady learned investigative techniques that include researching backgrounds, legal due diligence, and deep research and analysis in the preparation of cases. Ms. Heady is certified by the National Association of Personnel Services as a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist. Currently, Ms. Heady is studying at Southern Connecticut State University with the ultimate goal of receiving a Master of Science Degree in Library and Information Science. Through her studies, Ms. Heady is advancing her knowledge of information management and analysis, as well as staying on top of all of the latest advancements in research. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.
