Pandora announced that Brian McAndrews is the company’s new CEO, President and Chairman. He is replacing Joe Kennedy who announced his resignation in March. Mr. McAndrews is best known for the work he did at Avenue A building the agency in to aQuantive, which was then acquired by Microsoft in 2007.
Previously, Mr. McAndrews served as Venture Partner at Madrona Venture Group, where he served on the boards of portfolio companies AdReady and Jobaline. Other past roles include Senior Vice President, Advertiser and Publisher Solutions at Microsoft; President and CEO at aQuantive; Executive Vice President at The Walt Disney Company; Vice President and Director at Capital Cities/ABC and Product Management at General Mills.
Mr. McAndrews holds an AB in Economics from Harvard College and a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In addition, he serves on the boards for AppNexus, The New York Times Company and Grubhub Seamless.
