Mark Russell has been named president of Wunderman Team Detroit where he is responsible for enterprise-wide digital work for Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Ford Customer Service Division, and Ford Credit. He is considered a key hands-on, “in the trenches” player building two startups from the group up to $25+ and $100+ million in annual sales, as well as in founding and leading a cutting-edge marketing firm from concept through successful acquisition by a well-known advertising agency. Before joining the team, Russell was senior vice president and managing director of the Boston and Dallas offices of Carat Fusion, where he was responsible for 22 national and global clients including John Deere, Wachovia, AOL, Reebok, Motorola and Radio Shack as well as Nonprofits. Mr. Russel has been cited in several industry publications, including the New York Times, as an agent of change for agencies adjusting to the Digital Age. He joined Wunderman October 2007.

Kristian Schwartz joined Wunderman’s San Francisco Office as Client Service Director on March 10th, 2008. Prior to joining Wunderman, he served as a Group Account Director with Tribal DDB Worldwide, a position he held from August 2006 until his current role. Before Tribal, Kristian served as a Group Account Director with Real Branding; Client Director at Avenue A/Razorfish where he managed the Visa account; Senior Account Manager with Digitas; Account Manager with Darwin Digital; and Manager with Wired Magazine. Kristian earned his B.S. in Economics from the University of Oregon.

Boon-Lock Yeo has been named Director of Engineering at Google China in Shanghai. Prior to Google, he worked as GM of Intel Asia-Pacific R&D Ltd for four years, leading R&D efforts for Intel and Intel software in China. At Intel, he oversaw the expansion of Intel R&D personnel in Shanghai from 200 to more than 1000 employees in 3 years. He received two Intel Achievement Awards - the highest Intel award recognizing outstanding accomplishments with significant business impacts - in 2006 and 2007 respectively for innovative products, and strategic enabling of system software that helped create China's BIOS industry. Prior to Intel China assignment, he was an entrepreneur and had founded a data storage technology startup. He has previously held R&D positions specializing in signal / video processing, data compression and multimedia search/indexing technologies at Intel Micro-computer Research Labs, IBM T. J. Watson Research Center and AT&T Bell Labs. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and BSEE from Purdue University. He was internationally recognized for his work on image/video processing, data storage and compression. He received an IEEE Transactions Best Paper Award in 1996, has published over 40 technical papers and holds 33 US patents. He had also contributed to fundamental technologies in wavelet-based lossless compression which were part of the JPEG2000 standards. He was an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions for Image Processing and had chaired the Storage and Retrieval of Media Databases conference. He recently co-authored a chapter on open source opportunities in China in the book "Open Sources 2.0" (published by O'Reilly). He joined Google in March of 2007.

Joshua (Josh) Updegraff has been named an Associate in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Public Sector Organization & Strategy Practice. Previously he was a Consultant at BearingPoint, Inc in the Washington D.C. Metro Area, a company Mr Updegraff joined in December 2004. Prior roles Research Associate, Personnel Selection & Development at Human Resources Research Organization from August 2002 to November 2004. Mr Updegraff studied at James Madison University with a BS in I O Psychology and Statistics. He joined Booz Allen in January of 2008.

Previously, he served as Senior Consultant at Capgemini Government Solutions in the Washington D.C. Metro Area from September 2005 until joining Booz Allen in 2008. Prior positions include Program Manager, Operations & Consulting at Oracle Corporation from June 2002 to September 2005; Consultant as Sales Strategy Institute from July 2000 to June 2002; and Change Management Consultant at Bank of America from April 1999 to July 2000. Brett studied at University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a MA in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and at Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Science, Psychology, and Statistics.
