Joanne Bradford has been hired as Head of Partnerships at Pinterest. In her new role she will create strategies for identifying the best ways to work with advertisers and media partners to begin to bring in revenue. In addition she will oversee the sales organization. She will be reporting to the head of Pinterest Operations, Don Faul. She will be starting in December.
Previously, Ms. Bradford served as President of the San Francisco Chronicle. Other prior roles include Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer at Demand Media and senior revenue and media roles at Yahoo! and Microsoft. She began her career at Mc-Graw Hill.
She was named to Mediaweek 50 in 2010 and serves on the boards of the Ad Council and CARE. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from San Diego State University.
