Twitter’s Bluefin Labs Names Scott Grunther SVP GM of Media Products. In this new role, Mr. Grunther will work closely with television networks to help them leverage social TV insights from Bluefin Labs to drive ad sales and strategic programming decisions. In addition, Mr. Grunther will direct the business and product development efforts for the company’s media clients. The media products team drives the strategy and sales of the next generation of ad effectiveness and program engagement analytics to help TV networks capture the full value of their advertising and promotional inventory.
Mr. Grunther joins Bluefin from Nielsen where he was Senior Vice President at Nielsen IAG, the division of Nielsen that measures TV and internet advertising effectiveness. While at Nielsen IAG, he helped TV networks understand the impact of new and non-traditional advertising, including product placements, sponsorships and brand integrations. He began his career in advertising sales with CNN and has also worked in business development and account management for a number of media technology companies. Mr. Grunther holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in English from Hamilton College.
